A registered marriage celebrant is someone that has been accepted by the Australian Federal Department of the Attourney General, to solemnise marriages throughout Australia according to the Marriage Act 1961.
In today’s society, more couples are preferring to be married by a civil celebrant with less focus on a church wedding. A Civil ceremony allows you to choose your location, time and day, also allowing you to create your own ceremony which reflects your relationship.
